Scaffolding jobs

• Responsible for execution of all Scaffolding works during mobilization of barges/ vessels/cargo barge, Base operations and during offshore campaigns.
• Evaluate the site to determine the appropriate type and the amount of scaffolding needed considering load bearing requirements, access points etc.
• Identify potential hazards or obstacles that might affect scaffolding installation
• Demonstrate work methods to others and subordinate craftsmen/workers who do not have the skill or experience to perform. Makes sketches for instructional purpose
• Ensure good house-keeping of the site so that it is safe both his crew and others needing access to it.
• Select and inspect scaffolding materials and ensure they are in good condition.
• Ensure assembly of scaffolding components as per approved plan and to the highest standards of scaffolding practices
• Ensure all working permits are available before any work commences
• Ensure that scaff tag systems are implemented .
• Compliance in accordance with section/Company policies & procedures, Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct & HSE standards.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

• Candidate shall have a secondary school certificate (class 10) or a diploma.
• Candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years offshore experience as a Scaffolder
