Position Title: Food Server

Job Summary

The Food Server is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests while maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. The role ensures orders are taken accurately, food and beverages are served properly, guest needs are attended to, and service is delivered according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Set up tables, dining areas, and service stations before operations.
  • Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations when required.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
  • Ensure correct presentation, portion, and quality of served items.
  • Check guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and equipment.
  • Clear tables, reset dining areas, and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to supervisors.
  • Process bills, payments, and support accurate order closing when required.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other service team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist with special events, functions, and busy service periods.
  • Follow company policies, service standards, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Server in a hotel, restaurant, café, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to take orders accurately and work as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and guest-focused approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
