As a Waiter at Art and Dine Restaurant, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Your ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide recommendations and upsell additional items as appropriate.
• Order Management:
• Ensure accurate order entry and timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions, and issue receipts.
• Table Maintenance:
• Set and clean tables according to restaurant standards.
• Refill beverages and clear plates and utensils as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service.
• Health and Safety:
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trays and other items weighing up to [weight].
• Ability to work in a busy environment with varying noise levels.
