As a Commis 1 – Pastry, you will play an essential role in supporting the pastry kitchen operations and creating exceptional sweet experiences that embody the Shangri-La philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily production and operations of the Pastry section.
Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and service in line with established guidelines.
Deliver quality and creativity that reflect the Shangri-La philosophy.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of pastry techniques and menu items.
Consistently follow hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel.

About You

Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
Previous experience in a Bakery or Pastry section within a restaurant or 5-star hotel.
Passionate about Food & Beverage, with creativity and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English.
Curious and eager to learn new culinary trends and techniques.
