Full job description

Hoshi Gourmet is seeking an experienced, professional, and service-oriented Waiter to join our Front of House team.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of working experience in a standalone, high-end restaurant, with a strong understanding of premium guest service, dining etiquette, and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, attentive, and personalized service.
  • Present menus, explain dishes and ingredients, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and food preparation methods.
  • Ensure timely and coordinated service throughout the guest dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards of table setup, presentation, cleanliness, and restaurant readiness.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
  • Coordinate with the Hostess, kitchen team, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow restaurant service procedures, hygiene standards, and grooming requirements.
  • Support opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Waiter in a standalone, high-end restaurant.
  • Previous experience in upscale dining, fine dining, luxury hospitality, or premium standalone restaurants is required.
  • Experience in Japanese cuisine or modern Japanese dining is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of dining etiquette, table service, and guest relations.
  • Professional appearance, excellent grooming, and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and a positive professional attitude.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
