About the Role

We are looking for a customer-focused and efficient Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Marrybrown UAE.

The role will be responsible for handling customer transactions, operating the cash register and POS system, processing payments, issuing receipts, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-food restaurant environment, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashiering & Transactions

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Issue receipts and provide the correct change.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency when processing customer orders and payments.

Customer Service

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding the menu, pricing, and promotions.
• Provide professional and friendly service to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Address customer concerns and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Support front-of-house operations as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling, customer service, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service, preferably within a fast-food restaurant or similar food & beverage environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic mathematics skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• May be required to lift light loads of up to 10 kg.
• Regular interaction with customers and team members.
• Fast-paced restaurant environment requiring speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
