Cake Shop Driver

Location: Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Dubai
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver cakes, desserts, and other orders to customers across Dubai and surrounding emirates.
  • Load, transport, and unload cakes carefully to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, professionally, and within scheduled time slots.
  • Collect cash or obtain customer signatures when required.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  • Assist with collecting supplies, ingredients, or packaging materials from suppliers when needed.
  • Help with basic warehouse or operations tasks during quieter delivery periods.
  • Follow all UAE traffic laws and company safety procedures.
  • Represent Cake Social professionally and provide excellent customer service at every delivery.

Requirements

  • Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver in the UAE is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Dubai roads and navigation apps (Google Maps/Waze).
  • Able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20 kg.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organized.
  • Calm under pressure and able to handle fragile products with care.
  • Clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering cakes, food, flowers, or other delicate products.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Customer service experience.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 6 days per week.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required, especially during busy seasons.

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
