In this role, you will be the main point of contact for handling guest transactions, managing cash registers, and finalizing billings for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders.The ideal candidate must possess excellent numerical skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to maintain composure during peak operational hours.Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Management: Process cash, credit card, and digital wallet payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly upon arrival or checkout, answer basic menu questions, and ensure a positive final impression.
  • Order Coordination: Verify and manage billing details for dine-in tables, takeaway packages, and third-party delivery orders.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
  • Receipt & Invoice Management: Issue receipts, invoices, refunds, or change correctly while maintaining accurate transaction logs.
  • Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter area.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar front-of-house role within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating modern Point of Sale (POS) software and credit card terminals.
  • Languages: Strong verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a distinct advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Basic math skills, high integrity, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and split shifts as needed.
