Full job description

  • Contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of fleet.
  • Evaluate the current and future forecast for assigned markets on a daily basis and provide the necessary recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on the day-to-day actions of Avis competitors in the marketplace, ensuring that Avis actions are appropriate, targeted, and effective both for special events and the more frequently occurring mid-week peaks.
  • Encode the rates in the relevant systems in a timely manner to ensure that all future reservations have picked up the right rates based on the seasonality trend to avoid any loss of revenue to the organization.
  • Communicate notable trends on a daily basis to all levels of management in terms of agreements with wrong rates/rate plans, low RPU’s, free upgrades/downgrades
  • Conduct rate shops thrice a week (Monday & Wednesday & Friday) to review our online prices in the market in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with ABG parties for any jobs related to admin , pricing, promotions, news updates and user requests.
  • Monitor fleet changes and resultant impact to future availability. Complete analysis on best markets for fleet repositioning.
  • Conducting current/historic regular analysis on customer demographics, changes in demand and impact of promotions.
  • Build partnerships with Operations, Fleet, Marketing, and Pricing counterparts to ensure business targets are met.
  • Build knowledge on rate and revenue applications, to regularly review competition pricing and recommend changes
  • Update Local /International websites with the latest rates, offers, terms and conditions, location information, stop sales, fleet inventory, payment conditions (prepay/pay on arrival) etc
  • Develop yearly seasonality based on key events and holidays, and share with senior management for approvals and implementation.
  • Utilize exception reporting to identify gaps in prevailing strategy, recommend and implement changes to maximize revenue.
  • Providing regular guidance on the short term rental based on future demand and bookings to ensure maximum utilization of the fleet with the required RPD.
  • Daily , Weekly and Monthly reporting for all area related to the Customer Experience Department in a timely manner
  • Assist with any Ad-Hoc projects when and as needed.
