About the Role Description

We are looking for a seasoned Freight Operations Manager to lead end-to-end logistics operations at our DWC facility — covering inbound and outbound international shipments by air, sea, and land. You will own shipment execution, cost control, and stakeholder communication while building a high-performing team in a fast-paced trading environment.

Deep familiarity with trade lanes, freight standards, and business culture from these regions is a key differentiator. Candidates who have managed multi-corridor freight operations connecting these markets to the GCC/MENA region are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in automotive parts or high-volume wholesale distribution.
• Strong skills in shipment planning, carrier coordination, and route optimization to manage daily inbound and outbound freight flows.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs requirements, Incoterms, and trade documentation relevant to the UAE and global markets.
• Ability to analyze freight costs and performance data, identify process bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements.
• Proficiency with logistics, warehouse, or ERP systems and solid MS Excel skills for reporting and tracking shipments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Demonstrated people-management abilities, including coordinating cross-functional teams and working with external logistics partners.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus.
• Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai and willingness to adapt to changing operational needs and business growth.

Team leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the freight operations team — setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Act as the primary escalation point for all freight-related operational issues across internal and external stakeholders
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
• Provide senior management with regular reporting on shipment performance, cost metrics, and team output
