About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Procurement Officer to join our team and manage our purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase processes, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials at competitive prices.

This role is suitable for a proactive professional who understands international sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and maintaining strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
• Identify and evaluate reliable local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure purchased products meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports.
• Support inventory planning and ensure availability of required materials/products.
• Handle supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience dealing with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
• Ability to compare quotations and analyze costs effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and procurement systems.
• English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
