Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a self-adhesive label printing facility. The role is responsible for production planning and execution, machine and manpower utilization, product quality, cost control, waste reduction, maintenance coordination, and on-time delivery. The successful candidate must have substantial experience in flexographic printing and self-adhesive label manufacturing, with a proven ability to manage production teams and improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer orders, quality requirements, capacity constraints, and delivery commitments.
• Lead all production activities across flexographic printing, die-cutting, slitting, rewinding, and finishing operations.
• Ensure production schedules, work orders, and job priorities are communicated and executed effectively.
• Supervise production supervisors, shift leaders, operators, and support personnel to achieve output and efficiency targets.
• Ensure products meet approved artwork, customer specifications, print quality standards, and dimensional requirements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs covering output, machine utilization, production efficiency, downtime, rejection rates, waste, and on-time delivery.
• Optimize the use of label stock, inks, adhesives, coatings, printing plates, dies, and other production materials.
• Control material wastage, setup losses, rework, and production costs while maintaining required quality standards.
• Coordinate with Sales, Planning, Prepress, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse, and Maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Ensure production capacity, manpower, machines, and materials are aligned with current and forecasted demand.
• Initiate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality issues, production delays, and equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure production equipment remains reliable and available.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures, production controls, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping, quality procedures, and applicable manufacturing standards.
• Train, develop, and evaluate production personnel to strengthen technical capability, accountability, and productivity.
• Review production reports, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions against targets.
• Ensure accurate production documentation, job costing inputs, material consumption records, and finished-goods reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in throughput, quality consistency, production efficiency, and customer delivery performance.
• Report production performance, resource requirements, major risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in printing or label manufacturing, including substantial production management responsibility.
• Strong experience in self-adhesive label manufacturing and flexographic printing is essential.
