We are seeking to hire a Materials Planner to join our Procurement team. The Materials Planner will plan, forecast material needs for various programs, calculate stocking levels, adjust reorder levels, evaluate results, and ensure the accuracy of adopted planning methods. The material planner will prepare spare packages for all aircraft maintenance inputs and review non-moving and slow-moving spares, recommending inclusion or removal from consignment stock to improve off-shelf availability. This will be a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Required candidate profile:

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience in Material Planning,

• Knowledge of Inventory systems and warehouse management.

• Aerospace Industry experience.

• Excellent knowledge of the aviation industry process and function.

• Good analytical skills, ability to work on advanced excel and macro functions.

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, purchase specifications, applicable regulations, and contractual terms and conditions.

• Knowledge of import and export rules and regulations in the UAE and in relevant countries.

• Ability to use Inventory systems for [store/warehouse module], Knowledge of material planning methods, and application of scientific formulas.

• Knowledge of Aviation Quality SOPs, Airworthiness Authorities requirements related to material management.

Desirable Criteria

• Immediate availability to join.

• Previous experience or fair understanding of Technical Spares Procurement for both fixed wing and Rotary wing platforms.

• Preferred software developmental skills using database.
