Key Responsibilities

  • Specimen Analysis: Perform biopsies, examine blood smears, and evaluate tissue samples using microscopes to determine if cells are benign or malignant.
  • Laboratory Management: Oversee lab workflows, manage testing technologies (like flow cytometers and cell counters), and ensure accurate test results.
  • Disease Diagnosis: Identify the cause and progression of diseases to provide actionable diagnostic reports.
  • Collaboration: Discuss test results with primary care providers and surgeons to inform patient care.
