Full job description

Creators Training & Consultancy (CTC), an educational and training institute based in Ajman, is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time English Tutor to support students enrolled in its English-language and English proficiency courses.

The ideal candidate should have strong English communication skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to help students improve their language proficiency through engaging and structured lessons.

Compensation

This is a part-time, commission-based opportunity. The tutor will receive a percentage of the applicable course revenue as agreed with CTC.

There is no fixed monthly salary for this position. The commission percentage, payment terms and other applicable conditions will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver English-language lessons to students at different proficiency levels.
  • Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
  • Prepare lesson plans and learning materials according to students' needs.
  • Support students preparing for English proficiency examinations, including IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and OET, where qualified.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct engaging lessons and help students build confidence in using English.
  • Maintain appropriate student progress and attendance records.
  • Coordinate with the CTC team regarding class schedules and student requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, English Language, Education, Linguistics or a related field is preferred.
  • A TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience teaching English or preparing students for English proficiency examinations is preferred.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to different learning needs.
  • Must be willing to teach on-site in Ajman, UAE.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working under a commission/percentage-based payment arrangement.

Pay: AED500.00 - AED1,000.00 per month
