Part-Time Internal Auditor

About the Role

We are looking for a Part-Time Internal Auditor to support our management team in reviewing financial, operational, and internal control processes. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or similarly qualified professional with strong audit experience and a practical understanding of business controls.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking for a flexible, part-time role in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic internal audits of financial and operational activities.
• Review accounting records, financial transactions, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Check compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable UAE requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, discrepancies, and potential areas of financial risk.
• Recommend practical improvements to accounting, financial, and operational processes.
• Prepare clear internal audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure audit observations are addressed.
• Review processes related to cash, receivables, payables, inventory, expenses, and other key business areas.
• Work independently and maintain strict confidentiality of company information.
• Provide management with objective insights and recommendations to improve controls and efficiency.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred.
• Candidates with equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or other recognized accounting/audit qualifications may also be considered.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or financial controls.
• Prior experience with an audit firm or a reputable organization is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of risk assessment and business process controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high professional integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• UAE/Dubai work experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and provide objective, professional recommendations.

Working Arrangement

• Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualification

Pay: AED1,984.65 - AED9,696.30 per month
