Job Description – Packing Helper

Department: Packing / Production

Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract
Reports To: Packing Supervisor / Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a Packing Helper to support the packing and dispatch operations of our chocolate products. The role involves packing finished products accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack chocolate products according to company standards and packing instructions.
  • Check products before packing to ensure correct quantity, appearance, and quality.
  • Handle chocolates carefully to avoid damage or contamination.
  • Arrange chocolates, boxes, wrappers, labels, and other packing materials as required.
  • Seal, label, and organize finished products correctly.
  • Ensure packing is completed within the required production timelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing area.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Assist with counting and checking packed products.
  • Support the team with stock arrangement and movement of packing materials.
  • Prepare packed products for storage or dispatch.
  • Report damaged products, incorrect quantities, or packing issues to the supervisor.
  • Minimize material and product wastage.
  • Assist with cleaning packing equipment and workstations.
  • Perform other packing and production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in packing, food production, bakery, chocolate, FMCG, or a similar environment is preferred.
