Our stores offer a complete range of optical products and services, including:

• Vision testing and optometry services

We are currently looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Optometrist to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, recommending appropriate optical solutions, supporting retail sales, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

This role is ideal for an Optometrist who enjoys both clinical practice and customer interaction within a retail optical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform professional eye examinations and vision tests

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refraction.
• Assess visual needs and recommend suitable corrective solutions.
• Prescribe and recommend ophthalmic lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
• Educate customers on lens options, coatings, contact lens care, and eye health.
• Support retail sales by providing professional product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and company procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
• Work closely with store teams to achieve service and sales objectives.
• Stay updated with current optical products, technologies, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Optometry
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter
• Experience in optical retail stores
• Experience in eye testing and contact lens fitting
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a retail environment.

Preferred

• Sales experience in eyeglasses, lenses and sunglasses
• Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Experience working in an optical store or optical retail chain.
• UAE optical retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience recommending lenses, frames, and contact lenses to customers.
• Familiarity with insurance and vision testing procedures is beneficial.
