About the Role

I SEE EYEWEAR is looking for a qualified and customer-focused Freelance Optometrist to join our team for a one-month assignment during August 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional eye examinations, recommending suitable vision solutions, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses based on clinical findings.
  • Advise customers on appropriate eyewear and lens options.
  • Detect common eye conditions and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the retail team to provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Optometry.
  • Valid UAE eligibility to practice as an Optometrist (DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter preferred).
  • Previous experience in retail optometry or optical stores is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
