We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor with UAE experience in Oil & Gas Calibration facilities. The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of mechanical equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations, minimizing downtime, and managing technical teams.

OGSI designs and manufactures high-quality products and metering systems for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Generation industries.

Responsibilities:

· Leading technicians and subcontractors to perform high-risk mechanical tasks safely in accordance with company procedures.

· Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in production facilities, ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed on schedule and to the highest standards.

· Managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment to minimize production downtime.

· Wear PPE, overalls, and a helmet, and ensure staff are following HSE guidelines.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular safety checks and training team members on best practices.

· Overseeing large-scale mechanical operations during plant shutdowns, including installation and shutdown repairs.

· Monitoring the operation of equipment such as skids, flow meters, pumps, turbines, gas compressors, valves, actuators, analyzers, and compressors.

· Inspect completed jobs for conformity to statutory and Company standards and regulations.

· Regularly inspect the workshops and other workplaces used by his team, looking for good housekeeping and proper organization.

· Review regularly the tools distributed to his team, individual tools in the toolboxes, and others, and ensure all the needed tools are available for the job execution and the normalization of all situations.

· Ensure execution of scheduled pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up maintenance and troubleshooting activities on large and complex equipment to ensure proper operating conditions of the Company’s assets and adherence to international standards.

· Observe and approve Functional Tests, Equipment Run tests, etc.

· Participate in Safety Audits and Area Walk-downs as part of the acceptance list for the Start-up.

· Review and approve procurement of required spare parts based on equipment criticality analyses.

· Maintain equipment files that contain equipment datasheets, maintenance logbook, history, and any other relevant records like calibration reports, checklists, etc.

· Attend interface meetings with Project Teams and custodian departments to facilitate resolution of issues and promote good working relations.

· Contribute to the evaluation of the contractor’s technicians before they join the team and follow up on their performance afterwards.

· Coordinate with the Technical Director and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Mechanical Designer for efficient execution of project assembly.

· Initiate a Failure Report as per the criteria and support Engineers by giving input for the root cause failure analysis, improvement suggestions on chronic failures, spare parts management parameters, Preventive Maintenance plans, etc.,

· Raise material reservations and assist in the receipt of materials and spare parts, helping to check the quality of the supplies. Ensure unused materials is returned to the warehouse within define time.

Qualifications & Experience required:
· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

· 5 to 7 years of technical knowledge of Oil and gas field equipment, piping systems, valve repair, and alignment of rotating machinery, along with proficiency in technical reporting.

· Certified Forklifting and EOT Crane Operator.

Additional:

· Driving License and car.

· Additional certifications in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
