Network Technician jobs in Dubai

We are looking for a Technician Assistant to support senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV, networking, fiber optic, and low-current systems. The candidate will assist with cabling, equipment installation, basic maintenance tasks, and site preparation while following company safety procedures and technical instructions.

Key Responsibilities

CCTV & Security Systems

• Assist technicians in installing and mounting CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance (PPM) of security systems.
• Support troubleshooting and repair work under technician supervision.
• Assist in replacing cameras, cables, connectors, and related accessories.
• Help perform system testing and operational checks.

Network & Cabling

• Pull, route, and secure network and power cables.
• Assist with UTP cable termination and cable labeling.
• Support the installation of network equipment and cabinets.
• Maintain cable management and housekeeping standards on site.

Fiber Optic Systems

• Assist with fiber cable pulling and routing.
• Support fiber splicing and termination activities.
• Help prepare fiber enclosures, patch panels, and cabinets.
• Assist technicians during OTDR testing and troubleshooting. UPS & Power Systems
• Assist with battery replacement and basic UPS maintenance.
• Help technicians perform equipment inspections and cleaning.
• Support power cable routing and termination activities.

Documentation & Support

• Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition.
• Assist with inventory counting and material handling.
• Support technicians during site visits and maintenance activities.
• Follow company safety rules and site procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and networking.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience in cable pulling and structured cabling.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Certificate, ITI, Diploma, or Technical Training in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
• 0 –1 year of experience in CCTV, networking, cabling, or related technical work.
• Basic understanding of: CCTV cameras and surveillance systems, UTP cabling and cable termination, Networking fundamentals, Fiber optic cabling and Electrical and power systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site and outdoors when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage but not required.
