We are currently seeking a Medical Coder with prior experience in the homecare to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and services, preparing and submitting claims, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations specific to homecare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of homecare services to insurance providers
• Verify and validate patient insurance coverage
• Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on unpaid claims
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records
• Stay up to date with payer regulations and homecare coding guidelines
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians for proper documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience in medical coding, specifically in a homecare setting (Mandatory).
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
