Job Summary

The Projects Director is responsible for leading, managing, and delivering all project activities related to security systems integration. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and aligned with client requirements and company standards. The Projects Director oversees project teams, drives operational excellence, ensures compliance with industry standards, and supports business growth through strategic project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define and implement project delivery strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Establish governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
• Support business development by providing technical and operational input during bid/tender stages.

2. Project Management Oversight

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple security system projects (design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, handover).
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage large-scale and complex projects involving CCTV, ACS, perimeter security, BMS integration, and command control systems.
• Monitor project KPIs, milestones, and financial performance.

3. Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Build high-performing teams and ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary escalation point for clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project handover.
• Participate in project review meetings and executive briefings.

5. Financial Management

• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
• Approve procurement plans and manage vendor performance.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

6. Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO, SIRA, MOI), and health & safety requirements.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control processes across all projects.

7. Technical Oversight

• Ensure all solutions meet technical specifications and client requirements.
• Review system designs, BOQs, and engineering deliverables.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in security systems and ensure adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field
• Master’s degree (preferred)

Experience

• 12–15+ years in security systems integration or ELV environment
• 5+ years in a senior leadership/project director role
• Proven track record handling large-scale/mega security projects

Reporting Structure

• Reports To: CEO / COO / Operations Director

Work Environment

• Office-based with frequent site visits
• Interaction with clients, consultants, and contractors
• May require travel across regions/projects

Mandatory Requirement

Fluent English (Written & Spoken) is mandatory. Candidates must have extensive experience leading large-scale projects and operations within complex and fast-paced environments.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED70,000.00 per month
