Clinic Operations Manager

Job Summary

Pegasus Group is looking for an experienced Clinic Operations Manager to oversee the overall clinical and operational activities of Mendhan Medical Center and other healthcare branches under the group.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day clinic operations, supervising clinical and administrative teams, overseeing medical insurance operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

This is a multi-branch management position requiring strong hands-on experience in clinic operations, healthcare administration and medical insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical & Clinic Operations

• Oversee daily operations across all medical centers and branches under Pegasus Group.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all clinical departments and support services.
• Supervise clinic managers, doctors, nurses, receptionists and administrative teams.
• Monitor patient flow, appointment scheduling, doctor availability and staff allocation.
• Implement operational policies, procedures and SOPs across all branches.
• Monitor clinic performance, patient satisfaction and operational KPIs.

2. Medical Insurance & Revenue Cycle Management

• Oversee medical insurance operations, including eligibility verification, pre-authorizations and approvals.
• Ensure proper coordination with insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Monitor medical claims submission, processing, resubmissions, rejections and resubmissions follow-up.
• Identify and reduce claim rejections, denials and revenue leakage.
• Ensure accurate medical coding, billing and documentation in coordination with relevant teams.
• Monitor insurance receivables, outstanding claims and payment collections.
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies, payer agreements and healthcare billing requirements.
• Work closely with insurance and billing teams to improve revenue cycle efficiency.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality

• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE healthcare authority regulations (DHA, MOHAP or DOH).
• Monitor facility licensing, staff licensing and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain clinical and operational quality standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of healthcare policies and procedures.

4. Financial & Administrative Management

• Monitor operational expenses, budgets and resource utilization.
• Oversee medical supplies, equipment and facility requirements.
• Review operational reports, revenue performance and departmental KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

5. Team Management & Business Development

• Lead, train and evaluate clinical and administrative teams.
• Coordinate with doctors, department heads and senior management.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective measures.
• Support business expansion and operational setup of new branches.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in clinic or medical center operations management.
• Mandatory hands-on experience managing medical center or multi-specialty clinic operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance processes, including approvals, claims, billing, coding and reimbursement.
• Experience dealing with insurance companies and TPAs.
• Good understanding of UAE healthcare regulations and licensing requirements.
• Experience managing clinical teams, doctors, nurses and administrative personnel.
• Experience in multi-branch healthcare operations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare management systems and clinic software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Important – Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have direct experience in medical center or clinic operations management, along with a strong understanding of medical insurance and healthcare revenue cycle management.

Candidates with only general administration, retail, hospitality or non-healthcare operations experience will not be considered.
