Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Coordinator with strong UAE construction experience in villa and high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities, ensuring smooth execution of works, resolving technical issues, and maintaining coordination between MEP, civil, architectural, and other project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all MEP works, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and resolve site-related issues.
  • Ensure proper integration of MEP services with architectural and structural elements.
  • Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, builder's work drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP installation progress and quality.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project engineers to resolve technical matters.
  • Identify and resolve MEP design conflicts and site coordination issues.
  • Monitor MEP activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Follow up on material approvals, technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
  • Attend project coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Ensure MEP works are completed according to approved project schedules.
  • Maintain proper documentation, including inspection reports, coordination drawings, and technical records.
  • Ensure all MEP activities comply with project quality and HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Mandatory experience in UAE villa and high-rise building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
  • Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
  • Experience in MEP coordination, clash detection, and resolving site technical issues.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage site requirements effectively.

Pay: Up to AED25,000.00 per month
