Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and the surgical team in providing safe and efficient anesthesia services during surgical and day-care procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and check anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitors, and related equipment before procedures.
• Prepare anesthesia drugs, airway devices, IV equipment, and other required supplies as directed by the anesthesiologist.
• Assist the anesthesiologist during induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia.
• Ensure all anesthesia equipment is clean, sterilized, functional, and properly maintained.
• Monitor availability and expiry dates of anesthesia medications and consumables.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for anesthesia.
• Maintain adequate stock of anesthesia supplies and report shortages promptly.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and operation-theatre protocols.
• Assist with emergency equipment and ensure the anesthesia trolley is properly stocked.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with nurses, surgeons, and other OT staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow clinic policies, UAE healthcare regulations, and professional standards.
• Perform other duties related to anesthesia and operation-theatre support as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related field.
• Valid professional license/eligibility to practice in the UAE, as applicable.
• Previous experience in an operating theatre or day surgery center is preferred.
• Good knowledge of anesthesia equipment, airway management devices, and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and during emergency situations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with general, regional, and local anesthesia procedures.
• Knowledge of anesthesia machine troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance.
• Good organizational and inventory-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
