Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Officer in Abu Dhabi to manage, maintain, and secure patient health records in compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical records management, health information systems, hospital documentation, data entry, and patient confidentiality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize patient medical records and health information files
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all medical documentation
  • Update and manage electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems)
  • Retrieve and process patient records for medical and administrative use
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations
  • Code, index, and file medical records systematically
  • Support audits, reporting, and data verification processes
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital administrative staff
  • Safeguard patient data privacy and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or related field
  • Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and hospital information systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital software systems
  • UAE healthcare experience preferred
