We are seeking an experienced Quality Executive to manage and strengthen our Quality Management System for pharmaceutical freight-forwarding operations across air, sea and road transportation.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with GDP/GMP principles, client quality agreements, internal procedures and applicable UAE/GCC regulatory requirements. The role requires hands-on experience in pharmaceutical logistics, quality audits, CAPA, deviations, risk assessments, change control and controlled documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s Quality Management System and quality documentation.
• Ensure pharmaceutical shipments are handled in accordance with GDP/GMP requirements, client procedures and approved SOPs.
• Lead preparations for client, internal, supplier and regulatory audits.
• Coordinate audit responses and ensure observations and CAPAs are completed within agreed timelines.
• Investigate deviations, temperature excursions, customer complaints and operational incidents.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and establish effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage change controls, risk assessments and quality improvement plans.
• Prepare, review and control SOPs, policies, work instructions, forms, registers and quality records.
• Monitor temperature-controlled and time-sensitive shipments, including cold-chain requirements and supporting documentation.
• Review shipment records to confirm completeness, traceability and compliance.
• Evaluate and qualify freight agents, transporters, airlines, shipping lines and other service providers.
• Maintain supplier qualification, audit and performance-monitoring records.
• Develop and monitor quality KPIs, including deviations, CAPA closure, complaints, training compliance and supplier performance.
• Conduct GDP, SOP and quality-awareness training for employees and maintain training records.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Inbound, Outbound, Customer Service, HR and Management.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for pharmaceutical clients and external auditors.
• Promote a strong quality culture and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of quality experience, (preferably within pharmaceutical logistics), healthcare supply chain, freight forwarding or a regulated environment.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant GCC experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GDP, GMP principles, CAPA, deviations, change control, risk management and audit processes.
• Practical experience managing client or regulatory audits from preparation through CAPA closure.
• Experience handling temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipments is strongly preferred.
• Excellent report writing, documentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with operational and senior management teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic QMS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Internal Auditor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent quality certification.
• Training or certification in GDP/GMP.
• Knowledge of IATA requirements and pharmaceutical cold-chain transportation.
• Experience dealing with multinational pharmaceutical clients.
• Familiarity with UAE customs, MOHAP and GCC healthcare logistics requirements.

What We Are Looking For

We need a practical, hands-on quality professional, not solely a documentation coordinator, who can take ownership of the QMS, work closely with operations, confidently handle pharmaceutical client audits and drive quality improvements throughout the organisation.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
