Job Summary

We are looking for qualified and professional General Practitioner (GP) Doctors to support our healthcare company during medical camps, wellness programs, corporate health events, community screenings, and outreach activities.

The GP Doctor will be responsible for providing basic medical consultations, conducting health assessments, reviewing patient concerns, advising on suitable care, and referring patients for further investigations or specialist treatment when required. The role requires strong clinical judgment, professional communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a camp or event-based healthcare setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Consultation & Patient Assessment

  • Provide general medical consultations to patients attending medical camps.
  • Take brief medical histories and assess patient symptoms, current health concerns, and risk factors.
  • Perform basic physical examinations where required.
  • Review vital signs, screening results, and basic diagnostic findings.
  • Identify common medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory complaints, infections, minor injuries, fatigue, and general wellness concerns.
  • Provide appropriate medical advice, lifestyle guidance, and treatment recommendations.
  • Refer patients to specialists, clinics, hospitals, or emergency services when further evaluation is required.
  • Identify urgent or high-risk cases and ensure immediate escalation to the appropriate medical facility.

Health Screening & Camp Services

  • Supervise and support health screening activities during medical camps.
  • Review results from basic screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, oxygen saturation, cholesterol checks, and other camp-based assessments.
  • Explain screening results to patients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Provide preventive healthcare advice based on patient risk factors and screening outcomes.
  • Support vaccination drives, wellness checks, corporate health programs, or community healthcare initiatives where applicable.
  • Ensure all medical camp services are delivered safely, ethically, and according to clinical standards.

Patient Education & Counselling

  • Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle habits, medication compliance, and follow-up care.
  • Provide guidance on managing common chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, obesity, and high cholesterol.
  • Explain when patients should seek further medical care or emergency attention.
  • Answer patient questions professionally and within the doctor’s scope of practice.
  • Promote awareness of preventive healthcare and early detection.

Coordination with Camp Team

  • Work closely with nurses, lab technicians, coordinators, reception staff, healthcare assistants, and operations teams during medical camps.
  • Assist in organizing patient flow to ensure smooth and efficient camp operations.
  • Coordinate with the team for patient registration, screening, consultation, documentation, and referral processes.
  • Support the team in handling high patient volume while maintaining quality care.
  • Communicate any medical, operational, or safety concerns to the camp supervisor or management.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate patient consultation notes, screening records, referral notes, and medical recommendations.
  • Ensure all patient information is documented clearly and confidentially.
  • Complete required medical camp forms, reports, and patient records.
  • Report abnormal findings, urgent cases, or significant health trends to the relevant supervisor.
  • Support preparation of post-camp medical summaries or reports when required.

Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Follow company policies, healthcare authority regulations, medical ethics, and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Ensure patient privacy and dignity during consultations and examinations.
  • Maintain proper infection control, hygiene, and safety standards during camp activities.
  • Use medical equipment responsibly and report any issues with equipment or supplies.
  • Participate in briefings, trainings, and camp preparation meetings when required.
  • Represent the company professionally during all medical camps and outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid GP license or eligibility to practice according to local healthcare authority requirements.
  • Previous experience as a General Practitioner, Medical Officer, or Camp Doctor is preferred.
  • Experience in medical camps, corporate wellness programs, health screenings, or community healthcare events is an advantage.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage common general medical cases and identify urgent conditions.
  • Good communication and patient counselling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced camp environment with high patient volume.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Professional appearance, punctuality, and responsible attitude.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
