Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete medical insurance cycle, including eligibility, approvals, claims submission, resubmission, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs regarding approvals, claims, rejections, and payment issues.
• Review and analyze rejected, denied, and pending claims and take appropriate corrective action.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims in accordance with payer requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and support timely collection of insurance receivables.
• Review medical records, coding, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure claims are complete and accurate.
• Identify recurring rejection and denial reasons and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with the RCM, Billing, Medical, Nursing, and Reception teams to resolve insurance-related issues.
• Monitor insurance approval requirements and ensure compliance with payer policies and contractual terms.
• Prepare and maintain insurance-related reports, trackers, and performance updates.
• Support the team in improving claim acceptance, reducing denials, and maximizing insurance revenue.
• Handle escalations with insurance companies and TPAs professionally and efficiently.
• Provide guidance and support to junior insurance/claims staff when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in medical insurance/claims within the UAE healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of Al Ain or Abu Dhabi region medical insurance processes and practices.
• Proven experience in pre-authorization, claims processing, denials, resubmissions, and insurance follow-up.
• Strong understanding of medical coding and billing is an advantage.
• Experience dealing directly with insurance companies and TPAs.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of healthcare/EMR and insurance-related systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• DOH healthcare experience is mandatory.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
