Full job description
We are seeking a qualified Medical Coder with strong outpatient coding experience in Abu Dhabi, UAE including hands-on experience with JAWDA audits. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in coding for multiple outpatient specialties and fully compliant with DoH, ICD-10-AM, CPT, and HAAD/Abu Dhabi regulations.
- Review and accurately code outpatient medical records in compliance with DoH (Abu Dhabi) standards.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-AM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures.

- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG)

- Dermatology
- Radiology
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and minimize claim rejections.
- Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to clarify documentation when required.
- Conduct regular coding audits and provide feedback to improve documentation quality.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with healthcare data protection policies.
- Stay updated with DoH circulars, JAWDA indicators, and coding updates.
