Machine Operator

Location: Ajman, U.A.E
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day/Night/Rotating

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Flow Wrap Machine Operator to operate and maintain horizontal flow wrapping machines used in chocolate packaging. The successful candidate will ensure efficient machine operation, maintain product quality, minimize downtime, and follow all safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust flow wrap packaging machines for different product sizes and packaging materials.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient production and minimal waste.
  • Perform product changeovers, film roll replacement, and machine parameter adjustments.
  • Inspect package quality, including seal integrity, print alignment, and package appearance.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of the machine.
  • Complete production reports and record downtime, rejects, and output.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating flow wrap packaging machines in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Experience with horizontal flow wrappers (e.g., Bosch, ULMA, Fuji, Ilapak, PFM, or similar brands) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of packaging films, sealing systems, and product changeovers.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automated packaging lines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Basic computer skills for production reporting.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
