Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and vigilant lifeguard to join our team at PSA in the UAE. The primary responsibility of the lifeguard will be to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons at the facility's swimming areas. The ideal candidate will have strong swimming skills, excellent observation abilities, and the capacity to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surveillance: Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the swimming area to ensure their safety. This includes scanning the water, enforcing rules, and responding to any emergencies swiftly.
• Enforcement: Enforce all facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Rescue Operations: Be prepared to perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary. Maintain proficiency in rescue techniques and stay up-to-date on lifesaving practices.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly and decisively in emergency situations, including providing medical assistance, notifying appropriate authorities, and coordinating with other staff members.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, offering guidance on safety procedures, and creating a welcoming environment.
• Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming area, including regular inspections of equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and protocols is advantageous.

Work Environment:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including high temperatures. Lifeguards may need to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the facility's schedule.

Location: Dubai International School, Al khawaneej.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
