The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses on samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine tests and analyses on samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products using various laboratory equipment and techniques.- Record and interpret test results accurately and report any deviations or abnormalities to the relevant personnel.- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols in handling and disposing of hazardous materials.- Maintain accurate and organized records of all test results and other laboratory data.- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures.- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in laboratory techniques and equipment.Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Lab Technician in the Oil and Petrochemicals sector.- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.- Familiarity with quality control standards and regulations.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and record-keeping.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional growth and development within our dynamic and diverse organization.
