Full job description

FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare chemical solutions to experiment with.
  • Observe and conduct chemical and physical experiments, tests, and analyses.
  • Prepare reports, charts, and graphs.
  • Responsible for purchasing Laboratory supplies or preparing order lists.
  • Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Internal calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Adjust processing equipment to improve production efficiency and output.
  • Receive samples from all Sewerage Treatment Plants
  • Test effluent water sample at Inlet or influent water sample.
  • Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.
  • Provides glassware by ordering, receiving, and inventorying glassware.
  • Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventory
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
  • Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests of waste water sample and dry sludge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under Treatment & PS Department reports directly to Department Head and Laboratory Manager
  • Coordinates with Process Engineer and STP Supervisor
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Performs all duties according to Company Policies and Procedures
  • Adheres to company’s Quality, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to company’s HR Policies and Procedures

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
