Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper supports chefs and other kitchen staff with basic food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and general kitchen duties. The role requires good hygiene practices, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and floors.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
  • Store food ingredients properly and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
  • Help receive, check, and organize kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain clean garbage areas.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning kitchen areas before and after service.
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff with other duties as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or food-service experience is an advantage but may not be required.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.
  • Good time-management and organizational skills.

Pay: From AED2,300.00 per month
