Job Description – Jewellery Barcoding Staff (Male)

Position: Jewellery Barcoding Staff
Department: Inventory / Store Operations
Location: Nishka Jewellery

Job Purpose

To accurately barcode jewellery items and ensure all product details are correctly entered and maintained in the system for smooth inventory management and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and attach barcode tags to jewellery items.
• Verify product details such as item code, weight, purity, stone details, and pricing before barcoding.
• Ensure barcode tags are printed clearly and attached securely.
• Update and maintain records in the inventory software/system.
• Check and reconcile barcode data with physical stock.
• Assist in stock counting, stock audits, and inventory verification.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged tags to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling and security of jewellery items during the barcoding process.
• Coordinate with stores, inventory, and accounts teams when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barcoding work area.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work accurately with numbers and product details.
• Good attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of jewellery products is preferred.
• Ability to work responsibly with valuable items.

Reporting To

Inventory Manager / Store Manager

Working Standards

• Maintain 100% accuracy in barcoding and data entry.
• Follow company policies, inventory procedures, and security guidelines.
• Complete assigned barcoding work within the required timelines.

Gender: Male
Experience: UAE experienced candidates can apply.
Education: Minimum Higher Secondary / Any Degree preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
