Japanese Restaurant jobs in Dubai Airport

We are looking for a Restaurant Runner to join our Japanese restaurant team. The Restaurant Runner plays an important role in supporting the service team by ensuring food and beverages are delivered to guests efficiently, accurately, and with proper presentation.

The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive to detail, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to the correct tables promptly.
• Ensure dishes are handled carefully and presented according to restaurant standards.
• Coordinate closely with waiters, supervisors, chefs, and kitchen team members.
• Confirm table numbers and food orders before delivery.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Support the service team during busy periods.
• Communicate guest requests and service issues to the appropriate team member.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operating standards.
• Perform other duties related to restaurant service as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Runner, Food Runner, Waiter, Server Assistant, Commis Waiter, or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in a Japanese, Asian, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant is an advantage.
• Good understanding of restaurant service flow and table numbers.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Well-groomed, professional, and guest-focused.
• Physically fit and able to remain active throughout the shift.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
