Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Barsha, Dubai for a Qur'an and Islamic Studies Teacher. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Qur'an recitation and memorization, Tajweed, and core Islamic beliefs, practices, and ethics appropriate to different age groups. Daily responsibilities include preparing structured lesson plans, using diverse instructional methods, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain a respectful, inclusive classroom environment, collaborate with colleagues and administration, communicate with families when needed, and participate in curriculum development and school events. The role also involves integrating moral education and character-building into teaching, reinforcing the institute’s values and educational objectives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing Qur'an and Islamic Studies for various age groups.
• Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Training skills to design structured, age-appropriate, and engaging learning activities.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to explain complex concepts, guide learners, and interact professionally with families and colleagues.
• Solid knowledge of Qur'an, Tajweed, and Islamic studies, with the ability to present content in a balanced and age-appropriate manner.
• Relevant academic qualification in Islamic Studies, Sharia, or a related field from a recognized institution; formal training in education or pedagogy is an advantage.
• Prior teaching experience in an educational institute or school setting, preferably within the UAE or similar contexts.
• Ability to create an inclusive, culturally sensitive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
