QUALIFICATIONSJob Summary

To coordinate and manage all import and export activities for Gulf Extrusion Automotive & Industries, ensuring compliant customs clearance, timely transportation and uninterrupted supply of raw materials and finished goods. The role supports the automotive supply chain by ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with KIZAD and Abu Dhabi Customs requirements, and adherence to customer logistics standards including OTIF, ASN, JIT and JIS, while optimizing logistics cost and operational efficiency.

2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coordinate all import and export shipments by sea, air and land.

· Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, airway bills and all export/import documentation.

· Coordinate customs clearance activities with freight forwarders, customs brokers, KIZAD Customs, Abu Dhabi Customs, and other UAE regulatory authorities.

· Ensure full compliance with UAE Customs regulations, GCC trade requirements and international import/export legislation.

· Manage customs documentation, duty exemptions, temporary imports, ATA Carnets (where applicable), and customs reconciliation activities.

· Coordinate inbound deliveries of aluminum billets, raw materials, consumables, spare parts, production tooling and capital equipment.

· Arrange outbound shipments of finished aluminum extrusion products and automotive components to customers across the Middle East, Europe and North America.

· Coordinate transportation between suppliers, warehouses, production facilities and customer locations.

· Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve customs or transportation delays to minimize production disruptions.

· Ensure accurate ERP transactions related to imports, exports and inventory movements.

· Verify freight invoices, customs charges and transportation costs.

· Liaise with Procurement, Production Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Finance and Sales departments to ensure material availability and on-time customer deliveries.

· Support annual stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities.

· Maintain accurate shipping records and KPI reports.

· Monitor logistics performance including freight cost, customs clearance lead time, OTIF performance and logistics service levels.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and logistics providers.

· Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce transportation costs and optimize customs processes.

· Support customer audits and logistics-related compliance requirements.

· Ensure compliance with Company HSE policies and Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

· Perform any additional duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or International Trade.

Professional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain or International Trade (CILT, APICS, FIATA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Requirement

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Import & Export, International Logistics or Supply Chain Coordination.

· Experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment is essential.

· Experience in aluminum extrusion, metal manufacturing or industrial production is highly preferred.

· Hands-on experience working with KIZAD Customs, Abu Dhabi Customs, UAE Customs clearance procedures and bonded warehouse operations.

· Experience coordinating international shipments to Europe, North America and GCC countries.

· Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and shipping lines.

Experience using ERP systems

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
