Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The cashier will be responsible for handling customer orders and payments, operating the POS system, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Process cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payment methods.
  • Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain the assigned cash float.
  • Check prices, discounts, promotions, and bills before completing transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding area.
  • Perform cash counting and reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Report any cash discrepancies, payment issues, or POS problems to management.
  • Follow all restaurant policies, food-service standards, and cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist with other restaurant duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cashier, restaurant cashier, or in a customer-service role is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.
  • Strong numerical and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Honest, responsible, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
