Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Investments to lead strategic investment planning, capital deployment, and portfolio management across our group structure.

This role will oversee investment decisions across multiple asset classes including real estate, corporate acquisitions, capital markets, venture investments, and internal subsidiary funding. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Board and senior management to evaluate growth opportunities, optimize capital allocation, and protect long-term group liquidity.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Investments & Capital Allocation

• Evaluate subsidiary performance and recommend capital injections, restructuring, or exits. • Assess ROI and financial viability of new and existing business units. • Advise management on treasury planning, debt structuring, and equity deployment.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

• Identify acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships. • Conduct business valuations, due diligence, and financial feasibility studies. • Lead integration and post-acquisition performance analysis.

Real Estate Investments

• Analyze market cycles and identify strategic property acquisition or disposal opportunities. • Evaluate commercial and residential investment opportunities. • Monitor market timing for asset rotation and liquidity optimization.

Capital Markets & Portfolio Management

• Manage and oversee liquid investments including equities, bonds, and structured financial products. • Develop portfolio strategies aligned with risk tolerance and return targets. • Monitor financial markets and macroeconomic trends.

Venture Capital & Startups

• Identify and evaluate high-growth startup opportunities. • Build and manage an early-stage investment pipeline. • Conduct commercial and financial due diligence.

Requirements

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Banking, or related field✔ CFA preferred✔ Minimum 12+ years of investment experience✔ Strong experience in M&A, real estate, capital markets, and corporate finance✔ Proven track record in investment strategy and capital deployment✔ Experience in holding companies, family offices, private equity, or corporate groups preferred✔ Strong financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment skills✔ Based in UAE preferred
