We are looking for technicians who can do more than basic AC servicing. The successful candidate must be confident in fault finding, diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance across residential air-conditioning systems and be able to clearly identify and report the root cause of faults.

You will work in customers' homes across Dubai and will therefore be expected to combine excellent technical ability with professional behaviour, clear communication and a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair residential air-conditioning faults.
Carry out preventative and corrective AC maintenance.
Service and repair split, ducted split, package and fan coil unit systems.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical AC faults accurately.
Test compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, sensors and associated components.
Diagnose refrigerant-related faults and identify potential leaks.
Carry out refrigerant pressure and temperature checks.
Perform refrigerant leak testing, vacuuming and charging correctly.
Diagnose drainage problems and carry out drain line repairs and cleaning.
Inspect and clean evaporator and condenser coils.
Diagnose airflow and cooling-performance issues.
Identify failed components and recommend the correct repair rather than replacing parts unnecessarily.
Carry out AC installation and replacement works where required.
Complete testing and commissioning following repairs and installations.
Provide clear technical reports, photographs and recommendations following each visit.
Identify additional or follow-up works and provide accurate information for quotation preparation.
Communicate clearly with the office and operational management regarding job status and technical findings.
Maintain company tools and equipment in good condition.
Maintain a clean and organised company vehicle and working environment.
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
Protect customers' property and leave the working area clean following completion.
Deliver a professional and courteous customer experience.

Technical Requirements

Candidates should have strong practical knowledge of:

Split and ducted split AC systems
Fan coil units (FCUs)
Package AC systems
Refrigeration principles
Refrigerant charging and recovery
Vacuuming and pressure testing
Electrical fault finding
Compressor diagnosis
Motors and fan assemblies
Capacitors, contactors and relays
Thermostats and controls
Temperature and pressure measurement
Condensate drainage systems
Coil cleaning and maintenance
Airflow and cooling-performance diagnosis

Experience with VRF/VRV systems, chilled-water systems and advanced HVAC controls would be a strong advantage.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years' practical HVAC/AC experience preferred.
Previous UAE maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
Residential/home-maintenance experience would be a significant advantage.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
Able to use HVAC diagnostic equipment including multimeter, clamp meter and manifold gauges.
Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
Good spoken English and able to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
Able to prepare clear job reports and technical findings.
Professional appearance and behaviour.
Strong attention to detail.
Willing to work shifts and participate in emergency/on-call coverage when required.
Able to work effectively with drivers, other technicians and the office team.
