Senior HVAC Supervisor / HVAC Maintenance Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HVAC Supervisor / HVAC Maintenance Foreman with extensive expertise in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge across a wide range of HVAC equipment and demonstrate the ability to lead and manage maintenance teams independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and associated equipment.

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of air-cooled chillers, water-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, AHUs, pumps, DX units, package units, cooling towers, split AC units, and window AC units.

• Ensure reliable operation and optimum performance of HVAC equipment from leading manufacturers such as Carrier, York, Liebert, SKM, Trane, Zamil, Daikin, and other equivalent brands.

• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, including HVAC control panels, PLCs, DDC controllers, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Review maintenance schedules, work orders, and technical reports to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.

• Lead troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Monitor system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with operational and safety standards.

• Coordinate spare parts requirements, inventory management, and maintenance planning activities.

• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to maintenance personnel.

Team Management Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and supervise site maintenance teams comprising:

  • Senior HVAC Technicians

  • HVAC Technicians

  • Maintenance Planner

  • Storekeeper

• Allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet maintenance and operational objectives.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

• Strong hands-on experience with HVAC equipment from major manufacturers including Carrier, York, Liebert, SKM, Trane, Zamil, Daikin, and similar brands.

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control systems.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting PLC, DDC, HVAC control panels, and Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to independently oversee site operations.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in industrial, oil & gas, district cooling, commercial facilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices.

• Familiarity with HVAC performance monitoring and energy optimization techniques.

• Strong communication, reporting, and supervisory skills.

Experience Required: Minimum 8–10 years in HVAC Operation & Maintenance, including supervisory experience
