Full job description

We are Refleqt Digital, a performance marketing agency helping businesses grow and scale through paid advertising, creative strategy, and high-performing digital content.

Over the past few years, we have strengthened our presence in international markets, especially in the UAE, working with real estate developers, brokerages, and global brands. We create advertising campaigns, social media content, and performance-driven creatives that help our clients attract leads, increase sales, and grow their brand presence.

We are currently looking for a Freelance Video Editor / Video Maker to join us as a remote contractor and support our team with video content for advertising and social media.

This is not a full-time in-house employment position. We are looking for a reliable contractor who can work with us remotely on a project-based format, with payment calculated per completed video.

Main Responsibilities

  • Editing videos for paid advertising and social media platforms, including Facebook Ads, Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and Shorts;
  • Creating videos based on ready briefs, references, scripts, or minimal technical tasks;
  • Working with raw footage, stock videos, client materials, and archive content;
  • Selecting music, sound effects, and audio elements for videos;
  • Adding subtitles, motion graphics, visual effects, transitions, and animations;
  • Creating dynamic short-form content for performance marketing campaigns;
  • Adapting videos into different formats and aspect ratios for various platforms;
  • Participating in creative discussions and helping the marketing team generate new video ideas.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in video editing, preferably for advertising, social media, or performance marketing;
  • Strong understanding of short-form video formats such as Reels, Stories, Shorts, TikTok, and paid ad creatives;
  • Advanced skills in VFX, motion graphics, visual effects, and animation;
  • Confident experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar tools;
  • Good sense of rhythm, composition, storytelling, and visual structure;
  • Ability to work with feedback quickly and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently in a remote contractor format;
  • Basic English level or higher is preferred, but not mandatory;
  • Portfolio with examples of previous video work is required.
