- Government Relations Officer (PRO)

- Location: Dubai, UAE

- Job Type: Full-Time

- Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive *Government Relations Officer (PRO)* to manage all government-related processes and ensure smooth coordination with various UAE government authorities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience dealing with multiple government departments, resolving complex issues, and completing official procedures efficiently while maintaining full compliance with UAE regulations.

- Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with all relevant UAE government departments and regulatory authorities on behalf of the company.

* Visit government offices whenever required to complete official procedures, submit applications, and resolve pending matters.

* Handle all documentation and approvals related to employment visas, labour permits, Emirates ID, medical fitness, immigration, and residency matters.

* Coordinate with departments including, but not limited to:

* ICP (Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security)

* Dubai Economy & Tourism (DET)

* Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)

* Dubai Municipality

* Dubai Land Department (DLD)

* Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)

* Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA)

* Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) / Etihad Water and Electricity (EWE),

* Ajman Sewerage

* Dubai Courts and Notary Public (when required)

* RTA, Police, Civil Defence, SIRA, Free Zone Authorities, and other relevant government entities.

* Resolve issues related to visas, labour cards, trade licences, government approvals, fines, and regulatory compliance.

* Track changes in UAE labour laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures and advise management accordingly.

* Ensure all company licences, permits, registrations, and government documents remain valid and are renewed on time.

* Prepare and submit applications, letters, and supporting documents to government authorities.

* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and departments.

* Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and provide regular status updates to management.

- Requirements:

* Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience as a Government Relations Officer (PRO) in the UAE.

* Extensive hands-on experience dealing with multiple UAE government departments.

* Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, immigration procedures, visa processing, company licensing, and regulatory requirements.

* Proven ability to resolve complex government-related issues efficiently.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Preferred Candidate:

* Has an established network and professional relationships with UAE government departments.

* Demonstrates excellent follow-up skills and can complete government procedures within required timelines.

* Capable of handling urgent government matters and representing the company professionally before authorities.

* Arabic speaker is preferred.

- What We Offer:

* Salary: 7,000 to 8,000
