Food Runner jobs in Dubai

We are looking for a Food Runner to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our Kitchen and Front of the House staff to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Food Runner responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils. If you are experienced in the restaurant industry and know how to provide an excellent dining experience, we’d like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
• Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
• Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
• Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
• Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
• Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
• Handle various impromptu requests from customers

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food safety certification is a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and other languages is a plus.
