Job Summary:

The Fiberglass Technician fabricates, repairs, finishes, and installs fiberglass products and decorative structures for landscape, themed-environment, water-feature, and artistic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare moulds, surfaces, fiberglass mats, resins, catalysts, and reinforcement materials
  • Perform fiberglass lamination, moulding, casting, bonding, trimming, and assembly
  • Manufacture decorative structures, artificial rocks, planters, sculptures, panels, and themed elements
  • Repair cracks, holes, surface damage, and structural defects in fiberglass products
  • Sand, polish, paint, and finish completed items according to quality requirements
  • Read drawings, templates, measurements, and production specifications
  • Mix resin, gelcoat, hardener, and other materials using the correct proportions
  • Install completed fiberglass components at project sites
  • Inspect finished products and correct defects before delivery or installation
  • Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals, resins, and power tools

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of fiberglass fabrication and repair experience
  • Knowledge of mould-making, lamination, resin mixing, sanding, and finishing
  • Experience with decorative, artistic, landscape, or themed projects is preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools, grinders, sanders, spray equipment, and measuring tools
  • Strong attention to shape, surface quality, and finishing details
  • Knowledge of chemical-handling safety procedures
