Waiter / Waitress – Rare Brasserie & Bar

Rare Brasserie & Bar is looking for confident, energetic and genuinely hospitable Waiters and Waitresses to join our front-of-house team.

Rare is more than just a restaurant. We’re a lively, steak-forward brasserie and after-work destination where great food, strong service, good music and high energy come together. We’re looking for people who understand that great service isn't just about taking orders, it's about reading the room, creating a great experience and making guests want to come back.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver warm, attentive and professional service to every guest
• Have excellent knowledge of our food and beverage menu and confidently guide guests through their choices
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Build genuine rapport with guests while maintaining a polished and professional approach
• Ensure tables are set, maintained and presented to Rare's standards
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and wider front-of-house team to deliver a seamless experience
• Handle guest requests and feedback professionally and proactively
• Upsell menu items and contribute towards achieving sales targets
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, grooming and organisation throughout service
• Bring energy, personality and a positive attitude to every shift

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a busy restaurant, brasserie, bar or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A naturally friendly, confident and guest-focused personality
• The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player who is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work
• Good command of English
• Additional languages are a bonus
