Job Summary

An Event Manager plans, organizes, and oversees events such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, trade shows, festivals, and social gatherings. They coordinate logistics, manage budgets, work with vendors, and ensure events run smoothly from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events from start to finish
• Meet with clients to understand event goals and requirements
• Develop event timelines, schedules, and budgets
• Select and negotiate with venues, caterers, decorators, and vendors
• Manage contracts and payments
• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities for events
• Supervise event staff, volunteers, and contractors
• Handle on-site event operations and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
• Evaluate event success and prepare post-event reports
